What are the program dates?

Waypoint Dance is a offering a one-day workshop Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Where is the studio located?

Waypoint Dane 2025 will take place at:

New York Live Arts (NYLA)

219 West 19th Street

What does the daily schedule look like?

The workshops runs from 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Dancers will participate in 2 technical classes in the morning (ballet & contemporary), followed by a 45-minute lunch break and ending the day with a composition & improve workshop.

Is housing included?

At this time Waypoint Dance does NOT include housing nor is it needed.

Are meals included?

At this time Waypoint Dance does NOT provide meals. We suggest dancers pack a lunch, plenty of snacks, and water for a full day of practice. Dancers will have a scheduled 45 minute lunch break.

Students are allowed to leave the building during lunch, but dancers under 18 years of age must travel with other dancers. There will be no adult chaperone outside of the studio.

Due to severe food allergies, dancers are not permitted to pack anything with nuts in their lunch.

Is an audition required?

No, we do not require an in person or virtual auditio, but we do have a register form. For more information please resort to our apply page!

What is the dress code?

Though, we don’t have a specific dress code, we ask dancers to dress in clothing that they are comfortable moving in. Please no distracting jewelry, watches, etc. Hair needs to be pulled back and out of face.

Are guardians allowed to watch class?

Parents, guardians, and visitors are NOT allowed to be in the studio space during workshop hours.
